Dr. Rachid Benchaouir was the guest of the thematic conference “2049” dedicated to the oceans, organized by “L’Obs” at the Maison des Océans, in Paris. For the founder of Coraliotech, the idea to save the oceans lies in his technology: in partnership with the Monaco Scientific Center, he copies DNA sequences of coral molecules to synthesize them. This final product is identical, with the same properties, as the original. These molecules are then intended to supply the pharmaceutical, cosmetic and biotechnological markets worldwide. Coraliotech wishes to generalize this technology in order to protect the oceans and the sea bed.
